Banana pancakes w/ fig sauce
This recipe was made by a 6 1/2 year old & posted by one, too! Also won a H.V.O.C. (home version of Chopped)! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!

INGREDIENTS
1 cup flour
1 egg
1/2 cup goat milk or alternative for dairy free
3 small ripe bananas
1/4 cup honey
1 dash salt
COMPONENTS
1 Griddle
1 Spatula
1 Parent (safety reasons)
1 Ladle
1 Mixing Bowl
1 Measuring Cup
1 Pastry Blender (Or Fork)
DIRECTIONS for pancake
Preheat non-stick griddle to 325˚F or medium high heat.
Mash the bananas in the mixing bowl with pastry blender or fork. Add in other ingredients. Stir until well blended.
Ladle pancake mix onto griddle.
Wait until bubbles start to appear toward the center of pancake.
Then flip and cook for 3-5 minutes (until starting to brown)..
INGREDIENTS FOR SAUCE
4-Figs, chopped
3 TBS Pecans, chopped (optional)
3-4 TBS honey
COMPONENTS FOR SAUCE
Small sauce pan
Wooden spoon
Parent
DIRECTIONS FOR SAUCE
Pour all of ingredients in pan on medium low heat.
Wait until it starts to bubble and turn heat to low. Let simmer while pancakes cook.
Top pancakes.
