Back to Basics: DIY household cleaners
Free of toxic chemicals, corn, coconut, gluten & soy.
Dish soap modified from: http://vegantableforfive.blogspot.com/2012/06/vegan-diy-liquid-dish-soap.html
-1/3 bar of grated KMF olive oil soap (I think some reaction reported, but "cleaner" than our commercial stuff
-1/4 cup Washing Soda
-1/4 cup Baking Soda
-20-30 drops tea tree oil
-6-7 cups water
Combine all ingredients in pot & bring to a low boil. Remove from heat & cool. Made 1/2 gallon
Dishwasher soap
Dry dishwasher soap mix:
-1 cup Borax
-1 cup Washing Soda
-1/2 cup coarse salt
When ready to use put 2 TBS in washer & add 1 TBS vinegar or lemon juice to rinse aid part. I did the lemon juice (safer choice for us
