Squashes are very versatile to use in recipes and add a great amount of nutrition. We use a variety of squashes like; butternut, honey nut, acorn, spaghetti & kabocha. Each taste slightly unique so it's amazing to me how interchangeable they are in recipes. The only one that stands alone, at least to me, is the spaghetti squash. Its flavor & texture are just different enough from the rest that it's not quite as easy to substitute in a recipe.
